Developed in partnership with the Solana Foundation, the Solana Transaction Security Standard is built for teams that need visibility and control without sacrificing speed – enabling real-time, pre-execution security for every app, multisig, and wallet built on Solana.

The standard can help you visualize, asses and block malicious transactions before they are executed. Squads Protocol, etherfuse, Agant and Perena already use the Solana Transaction Security Standard to protect their users and operations. 

How does it work?

The Solana Transaction Security Standard is an API-first commercial product – built to integrate easily into any app, wallet, or backend process. 

It includes three key components:

1. Real-Time Risk API

• Screen wallets and transactions before execution

• Detect known scams, hacks, and money laundering addresses across chains

• Automatically flag high-risk counterparties and anomalous behavior

• Supports Lighthouse, Token2022, and all core SPL token interactions

2. Solana’s only Real-Time Simulation API

• Simulate transactions before signatures are collected

• Preview balance changes and token transfers pre-execution

• Detect slippage, token drains, or misconfigured contract calls

3. Intelligent Transaction Scoring

• Automatically score the risk of a transaction in context

• Tag high-risk operations like governance changes, NFT drainers, and custom programs

• Ideal for wallet extensions, multisig platforms, and user-facing warnings

This suite of functionalities helps detect risk, simulate transactions, and improve transaction-level observability – without compromising performance. Some products and platforms that could benefit include:
