Arc balances and transactions now flow into Range Unify

Arc is Circle's new payment network. From day one, Range reconciles it with everything else you settle, your bank accounts, your providers and your transactions on other networks.

Circle's Arc mainnet went live on 16 September 2026. For payments companies, banks and fintechs, adding the network means new balances to account for, counterparties to verify, transactions to classify and controls to evidence.

Range is supporting Arc from day one, and Arc balances and transactions already flow into Range Unify.

What Circle launched

Stablecoins now settle more than $97 trillion in annualized volume across blockchains. Most of that is treasury movement and bot activity; what remains, roughly half a trillion dollars, is genuine end-user payments: remittances, payroll, B2B settlement and merchant checkout. Arc is built for that payments slice.

Arc is a Layer 1 blockchain from Circle, the issuer of USDC. Arc uses USDC as its native gas token, so users pay network fees in dollars rather than a volatile native asset.

Arc offers deterministic sub-second finality and sub-cent stablecoin fees. With mainnet, Circle's StableFX is live on Arc, with 24/7 programmable FX across more than 20 fully reserved stablecoins and atomic payment-versus-payment settlement.

Circle positions Arc as an open alternative to parts of the correspondent banking stack. It is a rail worth adopting, and like any rail a finance team takes on, it has to fit how they already control, reconcile and report what moves across it.

The controls have to move with the rail

Range starts with the requirements: what the regulator expects, what an auditor needs to see and what gets reported and when.

Those requirements become operational controls applied to each transaction, regardless of the network it settles on. Range then orchestrates the risk and compliance providers a company already uses, with existing vendor keys and workflows kept in place.

Monitoring, reconciliation and reporting run from the same counterparty and transaction records. One ledger and one audit trail cover bank accounts, custodians, exchanges and onchain networks.

From day one of its mainnet launch, Arc is indexed in Range's explorers, so teams can trace payments, check the source of funds and look up counterparty addresses alongside the other 200+ networks Range covers.

Arc balances and transactions also flow into Unify:

  • Balances appear beside bank accounts, custodians, exchanges and other networks in real time.
  • Transactions are normalized and classified in Transaction Reconciliation.
  • Arc addresses resolve to the same Counterparty Management records as bank accounts and exchange deposit addresses.
  • Reporting and Intelligence feeds enriched onchain data into Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite and SAP.

Your finance team does not need to carry Arc as a separate book, the first Arc payment enters the same ledger as every other settlement rail on the day it is sent.

What comes next

Today Arc is in Range's explorer and flowing into Unify. More is coming, especially around Arc's native privacy features, functionality that Range already handles in many other ecosystems.

On Solana, for example, Range's onchain compliance tooling lets privacy-focused applications screen for risk without exposing their users: we power real-time risk screening for private trading on Vanish, and screen for sanctioned addresses before Cloak's privacy layer applies, the same approach behind privacy apps like Umbra. As Arc's privacy features ship, we plan to ensure risk and compliance teams still have the monitoring and reporting capabilities they require.

If you are moving settlement volume onto Arc, get in touch. We will show you your Arc balances, counterparties and transactions in one view alongside your banks and custodians, and how Range keeps them controlled, reconciled and reported from the first payment.
